Development-Related Postgraduate Courses (EPOS) are specifically designed for professionals from developing countries to study in Germany.

EPOS applicants usually need at least two years of relevant professional experience after their first degree.

A compelling letter explaining why you chose the course, how it fits your career, and your plans to contribute to development.

Depending on the course, you may need to provide a TOEFL/IELTS score or a DSH/TestDaF certificate for German-taught programs.

DAAD applications often require a CV in the standard European "Europass" format, highlighting academic and professional milestones.

Most applications are submitted through the "My Guide" or DAAD portal. Ensure all documents are translated into German or English.

DAAD scholars are provided with comprehensive health, accident, and personal liability insurance during their stay in Germany.

Includes a monthly allowance (currently around €934 for Master's and €1,200 for PhD), travel subsidies, and a study research grant.
